Henderson, who just recently broke news in his signing with Strikeforce, will participate in the event by both hosting a seminar and an autograph signing.
The 39-year-old Team Quest fighter is widely considered as one of the world’s top ten light-heavyweights and middleweights, and is expected to bolster the rapidly improving Strikeforce roster.
With a career record of 25-7, “Hollywood” Henderson owns victories over some of the world’s best. The former Pride champion holds victories over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Renzo Gracie, Akihiro Gono, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, Michael Bisping and many more.
Also to his name includes a victory over co-headliner Franklin. A battle between the two served as the main event for “UFC 93: Franklin vs. Henderson”. Henderson’s split decision victory is considered one of the year’s best battles.
It is safe to say that Franklin and Henderson are two of the best and most respected mixed martial artists in the sport’s history. On January 9 and 10, fans and fighters have the opportunity of meeting and learning from these two future Hall of Famers.
The entire list of participating members, along with the weekend’s schedule, will be released right here on Wisconsin Combat Sports tomorrow.

Not long ago, news broke that Rich “Ace” Franklin had been pegged to headline the Wisconsin Combat Sports Midwest MMA Expo and Seminars on January 9 and 10 at the Lake of the Torches Casino in Lac du Flambeau; WCS is now pleased to announce that Dan Henderson has also been signed for the event.
