Adam Sandoval, the Combat USA promoter, told Wisconsin Combat Sports that the show’s start date will be pushed back in order to include a new corporate sponsor.
“This new deal is huge for us and the tv show.” said Sandoval.
The television show, which will air on Thursday nights on Wisconsin’s “The CW”, will allow for local MMA to reach an entirely new audience. Sandoval expects the new show to open a world of opportunity for fighters and other promotions throughout the state.
In case you missed the prior announcement about the television deal and the tournament details, a total of seven separate tournaments in the 265, 205, 185, 170, 155, 145, and 135-pound divisions, will be held at upcoming Combat USA events.
The winner of each tournament will be awarded with more than $12,000.00. Read about the entire process from the recent article.
