... Awesome night of fights, Racine really knows how to come out and support their local show. Ed Nelson looked dominant in the main event, wow that dude hits hard! Luke Bowar is going to be a force at 185, he is powerful, and everytime I watch him fight you can tell his jiu-jitsu is getting better and better as he made the transition to mount look effortless the other night. David Kless looked very impressive on the feet again, his kicks are brutal. Abraham Yunis looked very impressive as well, he had the huge reach advantage and used it well, and his jab was able to land at will. Jason Price showed a lot of heart in that fight though and nearly pulled off the comeback after dropping Yunis with the big bomb. Hopefully the headbutts that Yunis was doing were merely a heat of the moment type thing, and not a trend that continues as he progresses in his career. Another great show put on by Nick, Hank, and Anthony and I can't wait for the next one! |

solid fights though fighters finished their opponents, good mix of standup wars and ground battles |

Quality Matchmakers I would like to thank Nick and everyone at ACS for the opportunity to debut at RFN 3. The Nelson match up was perfect for me to get my feet wet in the MMA. Nick, you had him ready for everything I through at him. Hats off again to the hard working guys at ACS and Kurts sports complex. I don't think Ed will be so lucky next time...I smell rematch! |

... out of all the fights there, i think the one to stand-out was the russell jackson match that occured second. i saw his debut in march up north in sturgeon bay against a 2-2 opponent and back then just like this weekend, jackson completely dominated the match. same thing happened up north, russell recieved one blow that staggered him, and then completely mounted and pummeled his opponent. |

... i cannot believe how dominant the new jackson kid is. i saw him as well up in the bay and thought he fought a lot like the luke bowar guy out of kenosha, funny thing is i then found out they are training partners. that bowar kid won naga in one of the low divisions and now seeing him at 185, he is just physically enourmous compared to the competition. all of these are out of that gracie gym, looks like they know their shit... |

... that gracie school seems to be putting out nothing but winners. if you look at what the stats say they are something like 20-3 over the past year for amateur and pro mma. their new kid stettner seems to be ready to destroy if he can get to the lower weight cla*s, the jackson kid seems to have esp and can tell exactly what his opponent can do, and luke bowar (even tho he looks like the hulk with autism) somehow seems to have developed an extremely solid ground game in the past year. why havent we seen more of these guys until now? why is gracie keeping them a secret? give us more! |

... Cla*sy post...Instead of giving the other school's in the area the credit they deserve, someone always has to make a jacka*s statement. So with that said. How did that FCC show go this weekend? Oh wait I bet it never happened or if it did, nobody cared enough about it to actually go to watch a 145'er against a 205'er in the famous FCC "open weight" division. |

... Great people and great trainers make for great fights...hopefully this is something that other promotions can learn from. The matchups were even which makes for better fights unlike some other promotions that put their "A" cla*s fighters against guys that dont belong in the ring. Note: Although I have I have only rolled with the guys from Gracie Barra in Kenosha a few times one thing you can take away is they train hard, they are cla*s guys, and Dave Rosenmarkle is a cla*s coach. This is apparent from watching Lucas fight. I watched him train with the other Dave and his ground, sorry Lucas sucked...fast forward to last night I saw some really good stuff. After the takedown I saw a great, controlled pa*s to full mount then a nice solid ground and pound...Lucas has all the tools to make it; he's atheletic, he's a character, and hes in a good camp. As a fan of the local scene he will need to step up his stand-up... Jugg...what can I say about him, poor judgement and attitude reflects poor leadership... |

... ILL AGREE I SAW bowar way back in his fcc days and god he seriously only used to just be this big lumbering uncoordinated retard when he was fighting heavyweight! Looking at him now on youtube, Im wondering what changed, i can see 4 out of his 8 profezional fights hes won in under a minute |

Trust can make a difference All of the guys that train at GB Kenosha can solidly rely on each other in and out of the gym. Their accomplishments reflect the efforts of their teamates as well as their own. It's the GB Kenosha family that gets them ready for their fights and sacrifices their personal time to help our fighters perofrm at their highest potential. Without that key family/team element in any gym, one's abilities could be limited. Luke, Ricky, and Russell did a great job. Myself and their teamates couldn't be more excited and proud. |

champion I saw Bowar back at the FCC when he was at 240+. Funny thing is, he fights 1000x better, and looks bigger than ever. I do hate paying $30 or $40 each time to watch him destroy someone in under a minute though! |

Despite a shortage of star power and some shoddy officiating, Racine Fight Night 3: May Madness delivered a night of competitive fights and stunning come-from-behind finishes. An enthusiastic crowd raised the roof at Memorial Hall, especially when Ed Nelson of Agallar Combative Systems knocked out journeyman Ryan Kolodziej.
