Wisconsin Combat Sports takes a look at the results of Wisconsin fighters traveling abroad last week, including Herbert "Whisper" Goodman at Ultimate Warrior Challenge and Nick Thompson, Solomon Hutcherson and Donovan Foley at Maximum Fighting Championship near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Whisper KO'd
Former Green Bay Packer, Herbert "Whisper" Goodman, 8-6, suffered a brutal knock out loss to Ronald Stallings at UWC: Man 'O' War in Fairfax, Va.
According to sherdog.com, Goodman took Stallings down with force but let him stand back up with only seconds left in the round. This was all the time "The Choir Boy" needed to take Goodman out with two knee strikes.
Goodman, a running back for the Packers from 1999 to 2003, went on a four-fight winning streak in 2008, culminating with a KO victory over Wisconsin Combat Sports' Hall of Famer Adrian Serrano at Gladiators Fighting: Thunderdome. Once a student at Fox Valley Grappling Club in Appleton, WI, Goodman now trains with the H.I.T. Squad, home to two former members of Miletich Fighting Systems: former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes and former EliteXC middleweight champion Robbie Lawler.

The Unviersity of Minnesota’s School of Law graduate is also a veteran of the Kenosha-based Freestyle Combat Challenge and owns victories over top-ranked Eddie Alvarez and UFC fighter Josh Neer.
Roufsports' Hutcherson, formerly of Freestyle Academy, improved his record to 11-5 and handed Dave Mewborn, 6-1, his first loss.
Hutcherson starred on Season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter and owns wins over Gladiators Fighting light heavyweight champion Rob Smith and Waukesha MMA's Jason Allar.
