Great Night at Madtown
This was a great night of fights!! Paddy O and "The Blunt Instument" put together one hell of a show...both how it was ran and the fight card. From the very first fight to the last, it was a great show of will and experience with all who fought. Can't wait until May 2nd for the 19th show.

So what happened in the Toll-Honneger fight? I see a split decision. Was it a good fight?

the fight could have gone either way imo. toll dominated first round. gased in the second which was the swing round and lost the third. he made some freshman mistakes that cost him the match. like consistently giving up top position to continually keep going for kimura from the bottom (biddles favorite move) and also giving up position from his feet to go for guillotines that were not there. If he would have just maintained his position and ground and pounded i think he would have easily won the match. he looked good for his experience to date but has a long way to go.

Thanks for the recap. Your right about giving up top position, the days of fighting off your back like Royce Gracie ended in the nineties. He can chaulk this up as experience, learn from his mistakes and use them to become a better fighter. Looking forward to seeing him fight next time.

here's my recall:
Toll looked good first round dominating position.
Second round started to gas and started trying to look for the quick win by chasing submissions and giving up position.
Third round Aaron looked gased and was still forcing submissions instread of looking for improving position.

I defently thought it was going to be a split decision.
Aaron looked good for his 2nd pro fight. Hopefully he takes away some lessons for the future.

for anyone that missed the fights you can see them here

http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/1067268

There is a 10 minute gap in which it goes black after the first 3 fights. they turned the camera off to plug it into the electricity. just a heads up you can just fast forward past this.

I honestly have to say this was our best night of fights to date. Everyone showed up to fight and win except for maybe one fight. The rest were competitive and entertaining. I would have every single fighter (except one) back for May 2nd. Thanks to everyone who competed, without you guys we got nothing. Thanks to WCS for the continued support and thanks to those that support the show.
