Though perhaps anti-climactic, Pat "Get Hype" Barry's UFC debut on Saturday night was a success.

Barry and his opponent, Dan Evensen, are both K-1 veterans, but Barry quickly established himself as the better striker by smacking Evensen's leg with low kicks. Evensen briefly took Barry down, but Barry managed to get back to his feet to unleash one final, huge low kick, prompting Evensen to quit due to injury at 2:36 in round 1.

The New Orleans, LA. native may not have made good on his prediction to knock out his opponent with a high kick, but he did finish the fight in the first round and in brutal fashion. He remains undefeated in MMA with four wins.
